Violin Group Class |
The violin group class course has been established in order to let students with no previous experience and from an early age (3 and above) to study how to play the violin in a relaxing but efficient manner, which corresponds with the students' age.
Depending on their age, the students will attend classes as follows: -3 to 5 years old; -6 to 9 years old; -10 to 15 years old; -16 years old to adults. Aims & Objectives : To develop the basic skills for playing the instrument, as well as to teach the students how to recognize and understand the musical symbols and notes. Expected Outcomes : The course has been divided into 3 levels. Each level lasts 4 months. Students who finish level 1 or 2, can proceed to the next level; or they can choose to continue with individual lessons. Target Students : 3 years old and above; anyone who have an interest in violin and would like to begin studies in a group setting |

Course Content
-Singing -Introduction of tone pitch through singing -Rhythm -Musical Symbols -Musical Notes -Musical Score -Musical Instruments -Listening to Music -Performance Aims & Objectives : To introduce the basics of the Music to young children and to start building up foundation, needed for successful instrumental studies. Expected Outcomes : The course will enhance the students’ confidence and will enable them to continue smoothly with an Instrumental Course. Target Students : 3 and 4 year old children, with no previous experience and willing to prepare themselves for taking Instrumental Course. |
Graded Instrumental Course

Aims & Objectives :
To instruct students in the fundamentals and idiom of their chosen instrument and to prepare them for practical examination. Expected Outcomes : Students will acquire skills, which will enable them to fulfil the requirements, specified by the examination syllabus. Target Students: Students who have decided to take practical examinations. Admission Requirements : Students must have completed Beginner level in Individual Instrumental Course before preparing for any examination. Students who have already done it, will prepare for graded examination, according to their progress and current achievements. |
Graded Music Theory Course – (Individual or Group Class) |
Aims & Objectives :
To prepare students for Music Theory examinations. Expected Outcomes : Students will attain a sufficient knowledge and will fulfill the requirements, specified by the examination syllabus. Target Students: Students who wish to attain a theoretical knowledge of music and to progress to higher grades. Admission Requirements : Able to read and write in English |
Individual Instrumental Course

To instruct students in the fundamentals and idiom of their chosen instrument. Expected Outcomes : Students will be able to perform to a standard comparable in standing with students on Graded courses. Target Students: Students with little or no prior knowledge. Students who have not decided to take practical examinations. Admission Requirements : For children – minimum age of 4 years. |
